A Langley man with two outstanding arrest warrants picked a bad time to bike down the wrong side of the road Saturday.
The 45-year-old flew off his bike after smashing into a turning semi-truck as he rode his bike south, garbage bag and drink in hand, on the northbound side of 56th Avenue, according to the Langley RCMP.
A police officer patrolling Aldergrove at the time came across the man lying in the street. His injuries were not life threatening, but he was transported to the hospital for treatment of broken bones.
Meanwhile, a record check turned up two outstanding arrest warrants for incidents in Langley and the man is now in provincial jail.
