Dear Editor,
Why is the federal government involved and subsidizing an interurban transit line? It goes from Vancouver to a bedroom community. There is nothing federal about the Evergreen Line.
The federal government should, instead, be focusing on paying for the cost of the Port Mann Bridge, which is an extension of the Trans Canada Highway and should be fully funded by the federal government.
Once again it looks like the BC Liberals are giving away something for favours in the future, and we won't likely know what those favours are until after the next election.
Stay tuned. and pull up the zipper on your wallet.
