The Christmas event at Muriel Arnason Library drew more than 150 children and their parents and/or caregivers, all of whom enjoyed Christmas stories and songs, and meeting and having their pictures taken with Santa and Mrs. Claus.

Representatives from Fortis BC's Warm Hearts Charitable Foundation presented a $5,885 grant to purchase a specialized weigh scale for the Pediatric Program at Langley Memorial Hospital.  The scale will be used to record, monitor and track the weight of children who are confined to a wheelchair or who are too ill to stand for any length of time.

Another ticket winner, Advance carrier Rhiana Antoniuk-Davies got to meet Elvis Stojko at Holiday on Ice.
