Here's a face in a notable place in both time and space. Lilla took this photo shortly after noon on Dec. 12_ when the downtown Langley City clock, combined with the calendar date, registered the time of 2012:12:12:12:12 p.m.

BC Hydro representative Emma Pydee shed some light on energy savings for Langley resident Henry Lankhaar at London Drugs during a PowerSmart awareness event last fall.
Salvation Army's Gateway of Hope helped children in need last fall by providing them with the supplies they need to have a successful year in school. Donations collected over the summer were packed and distributed and at the start of the school year to more than 200 Langley and Aldergrove children by volunteers including (from left) Allison Jamison, Tammie Spinks, Andrea Voss, and Teresa and Southridge Fellowship Church Pastor Greg Loren.

Mary McCarthy and Hollis Morgan of Brennan's Mens & Ladies Wear has collected $1000 in cash donations and bags full of groceries for the Langley Food Bank as apart of the Brookswood Village Merchants Christmas Window promotion.
