Fire crews soaked a burning trailer on a busy Brookswood street Wednesday afternoon.

The fire broke out around 3 p.m. in the 20900 block of 40th Avenue, apparently starting in the propane compartment of a travel trailer hauled by a pickup.

The trailer was largely destroyed, although some contents, including a motorcycle, appeared to have survived, said assistant Township fire chief Bruce Ferguson.

The road was blocked temporarily while crews worked to fight the blaze.

No one was injured.
