Clark not alone in campaign

Dear Editor,

Jack McEwen is mistaken if he thinks that Dean Clark is on a "one man anti-abortion campaign" [Women deserve their choices, Oct. 25 Letters, Langley Advance].

He can count me as number two, and all my circle of friends, their husbands, and children, too.

If there's any doubt to the greater number of Canadians in Langley alone who agree with Dean Clark, he needs only to drive down 200th Street on the last Saturday of September to see hundreds of men and women who also love unborn babies and want to save them.

This year, 350 people attended Langley Life Chain to demonstrate their opposition to abortion.

And no, we will not "move on" until these sweet, precious babies stop getting torn from the safety of their mothers' wombs.

If Mr. McEwen would like to be enlightened, I urge him to Google abortion images and techniques. It's a horrible, violent act that will haunt you.

Julie Lornie, Langley
