You don’t have to shell out money or travel very far to see a Canadian country music superstar perform live on Friday.
Just simply head out to the Willowbrook Shopping Centre.
At 4:30 p.m. near the Sears mall entrance, Terri Clark will perform a three-song acoustic set as part of a Basics for Babies event.
Radio station JRfm will be broadcasting live from 2-6 p.m. at Willowbrook, for its Basics for Babies Community Challenge.
The goal is to rake in donations (cash, diapers, formula, or pabulum) for Basics for Babies.
Hosted by Bob Saye, the show will feature performances from country artists Clark and Tebey, both of whom will also be signing autographs and taking pictures with people who donate to the charity.
Clark launched her new album, Classic, this week.
Copies of the CD will also be available on site at a special introductory price, via HMV.
She will kick off her 2013 tour March 8 at the Abbotsford Entertainment Centre.
