Dear Editor,

Most prochoicers generally support abortion during the first trimester, although support drops dramatically for abortion during the second and third trimesters.

All pro-lifers want protection of babies and a majority of pro-choicers want protection after the first trimester of babies, so why in Canada do we have no law to protect women and babies for all nine months of pregnancy?

You can have an abortion for any reason for all nine months of pregnancy. And a majority of Canadians want protection of women and babies.

We do need a law in Canada to protect women and babies.
