Representatives of Capilano University held their 2012 Alumni Awards of Excellence at the Pan Pacific Hotel in Vancouver May 9.

More than 300 guests were in attendance, interested in honouring and celebrating the nine award recipients.

The evening started off with a private reception for winners, sponsors and nominators, followed by the main reception and presentation of awards bestowed upon the talented alumni, ranging from a film and TV producer to a polar bear expert.
