A TLC show will spotlight the owners of a local wedding gown store.
The owners of a Langley City bridal store recently had a unique opportunity to work with a world-renowned wedding dress expert, designer, and TV personality.
Randy Fenoli of TLC’s Say Yes to the Dress made a special appearance at the Style and Strut Wedding Show in Vancouver on January 22. He then spent the following day helping brides chose their ideal wedding gowns at Isabelle’s Bridal in North Vancouver.
Isabelle’s is the sister store of Langley’s Everything But The Groom Bridal Boutique, so Heidi Tobler and Kristy Goranko of EBTG jumped at the chance to help out and work with Fenoli.
“The man knows his stuff,” said Tobler. “We learned a lot from him about how to dress brides for their special day and help them find their dream gown. It was an amazing opportunity and an honour to work with the fashion director of Kleinfeld’s, the largest bridal store on the planet.”
At Everything But the Groom, Tobler and Goranko pride themselves on helping brides find the perfect dress in a fun, inviting, no-pressure atmosphere, and they look forward to applying some of the lessons learned from Fenoli.
“Randy always says he doesn’t sell wedding dresses; he dresses brides and the right dress will sell itself,” Tobler said. “We feel that way too. It’s about the dress portraying how the bride wants to present herself on her special day. Whether it’s classy and elegant or fun and flirty, it’s all about the dress fitting into the story of who you are.”
Everything But The Groom offers wedding gowns, wedding party dresses, graduation gowns, accessories, and gifts on Langley City’s one way, at 20536 Fraser Highway. Visit everythingbutthegroom.ca or like them on Facebook.
