The Aldergrove Community Thrift Store closed its Fraser Highway location and reopened on Old Yale Road. Owned by the Gammons, it provides support to various community causes. It is not connected to the Salvation Army.

The Sal-Mart on 272nd Street closed and the Salvation Army is opening its store Nov. 10 in the former Field's location.
