It was cool and clear, with stars dotting the night sky.

In other words, Saturday proved to be a perfect evening for a Christmas concert.

The Langley Community Chorus delivered by singing a few familiar holiday songs, as well as a few that were off the beaten path at Willoughby Christian Reformed Church.

The chorus's 20th Anniversary Christmas Concert was held Nov. 24, exactly one month before Christmas Eve.

This was the first of three holiday concerts being performed by the chorus over the next week and few days.

The chorus will be performing an afternoon matinee, starting at 3 p.m. this Sunday, Dec. 2 at Sharon United Church, 21562 Old Yale Rd.

Their next performance is also a 3 p.m. matinee, next Sunday, Dec. 9 at St. Dunstan's Anglican Church, 3025 264th St.
