A Langley business is looking for princesses.

As You Wish Princess has a contest for the Langley Community Day Parade. Owner Alyssa Nielsen will choose eight princesses to walk with her in the parade June 16. The contest is open to five and six-year-olds who must write a story telling about a recent act of kindness or love toward the planet.

"This should be quite an adorable site as the 9 of us bring joy and color to the parade all dressed up in our princess outfits," she said

The five- and six-year-old girls need to submit a brief story (with the help of Mom or Dad) retelling a recent act of kindness or love toward our planet to qualify.

"After the parade I will be presenting each little princess with a lovely gift and will be entertaining children and families in the park for the remainder of the event," Nielsen added.
