As the Times went to press Friday, police were asking the public to help Mounties find a missing Chilliwack man.

Michael Coutinho was last seen in Yarrow on May 8.

The 60-year-old veteran was wearing green military pants, a black T-shirt and white running shoes.

He is five-foot-10, about 185 pounds with grey eyes and grey hair.

Coutinho was driving a white PT Cruiser with the licence plate 497 CWF. It is an O'Connor's courtesy car.

Police say it's unusual for Coutinho to be missing for such a long period of time.

- Anyone with information about Coutinho's whereabouts is asked to contact Chilliwack RCMP at 604-792-4611.
