Langley Mounties are looking for some jewelry stolen during an Oct. 22 break in.

Thieves kicked in the front door of a home in the 23200 block of 46th Avenue and ransacked the building, said Cpl. Holly Marks, spokesperson for the Langley RCMP.

The criminals took cash and jewelry, and the owner is looking for some items of sentimental value, Marks said.

The jewelry in question includes a 1.5 carat diamond ring with two side pieces, a large men's 14 carat gold puzzle ring with 15 diamonds and 12 rubies, and a .75 carat Canadian cut maple leaf diamond ring, along with silver and gold chains.

Marks said police have been checking online and watching pawn shops for the items, and the jewelry has not been located.

Anyone who can help the RCMP locate the stolen jewelry can call the Langley detachment at 604-532-3200 or, to remain anonymous, call CrimeStoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
