Wall-O-Lanterns invites families to celebrate the fun of Halloween early
It takes a steady hand to position Jack-O-Lanterns on the scaffolding for Wall-O-Lantern.

Trick-or-Treat goes rain or shine and Wall-O-Lanterns will be the same.
The pre-Halloween festival, to be held on Saturday, will run no matter what the weather delivers.
"We have a lot of covered areas," said Paul Walker, vice president of the Aldergrove Business Improvement Association.
This second year of the event promises to be even bigger and better with musical performances throughout the day by local bands and B.C.'s own family entertainer, Charlotte Diamond. Fun activities include hayrides, a bouncy castle, a rock climbing wall, and the Langley Advance kids' colouring tent.
For those who really get into their pumpkin, there will be three pumpkin pie eating contests throughout the day.
Families who prefer to see their pumpkin carved and lit up, a five dollar minimum donation to BC Children's Hospital gives a choice of pumpkins to carve on site.
Once complete, all the Jack-O-Lanterns will be positioned on the scaffold set up in front of All Seasons Garden Center.
At 7 p.m. the pumpkins will be lit to create a Wall-O-Lantern of hundreds of carved faces. The wall will stay up for a few days for everyone to enjoy.
"The pumpkins are good," Walker noted. "I think we have about 1,000. Lots of different sizes."
Visitors are invited to don a costume if they like, but it certainly isn't mandatory.
"I think last year we had maybe ten per cent who came [that dressed up]," commented Walker. "Some of us [organizers] will be dressed up."
With loads to do, families will want to take in this fun event from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at All Seasons Garden Center, 27491 Fraser Hwy in Aldergrove on Saturday.
