Dear Editor,

As an English-speaking immigrant to this country, I have to say I am appalled and disgusted by the "lady" (and I use the term loosely) who treated a young international student so callously [Careless comment drew tears, May 22 Letters, Langley Advance].

How uncouth, insensitive, and ignorant! I'd like to call out the woman on Southridge Crescent to write an apology for her backward attitude in today's multicultural society.
