A demo focuses on the human/horse bond.

The Valley Therapeutic Equestrian Association (VTEA) has some horse sense to offer the general public.

The group is hosting horse expert Jay O Jay for a demonstration of how to connect with horses.

"I think there's some important lessons he brings out," said Barry Welford, the VTEA manager.

The free demo is this Saturday at the VTEA site, 3330 256th St. It's open to anyone.

"We can accommodate a lot of people," Welford said.
