Megan Dolling, Nancy Wolchok, Emma Wolchok, and Janice McTaggert sang holiday songs during an open house at Ten Thousand Villages in downtown Langley on Nov. 23. The store is operated by the Mennonite Central Committee and features products made around the world. Makers are paid fair wages. The store is open year round and provides a variety of products, including food, that people can give as gifts. Many people are opting for gift-giving that features a social justice, charity, or fair trade element.
