Dear Editor,

Kudos to the hundreds of Aldergrove, Langley, and other participants in the Walk for Alzheimer's Awareness held in Aldergrove on Sunday. What a great turnout on such a miserable day, weather-wise (pouring rain and wind).

All those brightly dressed and relatively waterproof-looking folks with their children and pets in tow made me very happy (again) to be a part of this wonderful community we call the "Valley."
