Langley track and field runner Braedon Dolfo left Tuesday for the London 2012 Paralympic Games, which run Aug. 29 to Sept. 9.

All of the track and fields competition will be streamed live over the internet at www.paralympic.ca.

Profiled in the Aug. 9 Langley Advance [Track star readies for dream event], Dolfo is a T13 visually impaired athlete who has about five per cent vision.

Dolfo's schedule is:

Aug. 21 - left for the UK and pre-Paralympic Camp at Brunel University in London.

Aug. 29 - opening ceremonies (Dolfo will be watching from the Athletes' Village.

Aug. 31 - 100-metre semifinals (11 a.m. Pacific)/

Sept. 1 - 100m finals (noon Pacific).

Sept. 5 - 4 x 100m heats at 4:26 a.m. Pacific). From this event, four teams qualify given guide runners.

Sept. 5 - 4 x 100m finals (2:32 p.m. Pacific).

Sept. 6 - 200m heats (2:57 a.m. Pacific). Tentative, may go straight to semifinals

Sept. 6 - 200m sem-finals (12:10 a.m. Pacific)

Sept. 7 - 200m finals (11:51 p.m. Pacific)

Sept. 9 - closing ceremonies
