TV show host and cookbook author Sandi Richards is in Langley this weekend for an event called Fixing Dinner.

Is dinner a disaster?

Jericho Ridge Community Church is hosting this free event aimed at encouraging healthy living and enhancing family relationships around food.

As a mother of seven, Richards has become a leader in meal planning.

She will give tips and tools needed to fix dinner, plus there will be activities for children.

The event runs Sunday, Oct. 14, in the third floor banquet hall at the Langley Events Centre from 10: 30 a.m. to noon. More information at jerichoridge.com.
