The 12th annual Tri It Triathlon was a family affair June 24.

After the kids event early Sunday morning, the adults had their turn in the annual competition around Langley City.

The idea behind the event is to give people who might not otherwise think theyc an do a triathlon an opportunity to, as it were, get their feet wet.

Hundreds come out to compete and the final results have been posted to the Langley City website.
