Friends and family are rallying around month-old Greyson O'Neill and his Willough parents next weekend.
Greyson was born 15 weeks premature [Premie's parents reaching out to help other families, Aug. 6, Langley Advance]. He has undergone surgery, and requires 24-hour monitoring, and continues to get stronger daily, his parent said.
But consequently, his parents - Erin Heard and James O'Neill - have been at his side daily, able to stay nearby in Vancouver thanks to the of Easter Seals and Ronald McDonald houses.
Now, to help further, a team of friends is organizing a Baby Greyson Fundraiser at the Townhall Public House starting at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 8. It will feature variety shows at 3 and 8 p.m., featuring celebrity impersonator Bonnie Kilroe, plus there's a silent auction and 50/50 raffle. Tickets are $25 at the pub in advance.
As well, a family fun day is being organized for Sept. 22 in Aldergrove.
