An Aldergrove man died in Elliot Lake, near Fort St. James, after a fishing accident on Sunday.
The body of the missing 67-year-old was recovered Tuesday by the Fort St. James Search and Rescue team, said Const. Lesley Smith of the local RCMP detachment.
The man's disappearance was reported by his family Sunday.
He was last seen fishing from his boat in the small lake, which has a 90-foot maximum depth.
The boat was found adrift, with no sign of the man or any of his fishing gear.
The incident is not considered suspicious, and the B.C. Coroner's Service has taken over the investigation, said Smith.
