Kelly Munday took her 87-year-old grandma, Langley resident Hilda Morrison, to her very first hockey game on Feb. 15. During the Vancouver Canucks/Colorado Avalanche NHL game at Rogers Arena, they wore bright orange hats that were visible to all their family members watching the game on TV. The two had front row seats, right behind the net. At the start of the contest, Hilda received a practice puck off the ice, a visit from Vancouver mascot Fin, and a bag full of goodies including a Canucks hat and a signed poster. Munday said the highlight came at the end of the contest when Canucks' goaltender Roberto Luongo gave Hilda his stick. "She was so thrilled," Munday said. " She was treated like royalty by everyone. It was a priceless evening."
