As of mid-afternoon Monday, TransLink announced that the community shuttles in Langley were out of service due to the weather.

Shuttles were shut down, but full-sized buses were running without major delays throughout the region, TransLink said.

Those who relied on HandyDART were also out of luck, as the service for physically disabled riders was dhut down except for essential services. Patients were still being taken to kidney dialysis appointments, but most other rides were cancelled.

On-and-off snowfall was hitting many parts of Langley from the early morning on.

TransLink reminded bus passengers to dress warmly, as waits could be longer than average at some bus stops.
