Ever wanted to feel what it would be like to work in a Nascar pit crew? You can, at the General Motors display at this year's Langley Good Times Cruise-In.

GM is a sponsor of the event, and spokesperson Hannah Chalkley noted, "The Langley Cruise-In is an excellent opportunity for us to support our local community and showcase a collection of our new products to an audience of car enthusiasts."

In addition to the auto-maker's vehicles, there will also be a 2006 Chevrolet Monte Carlo Nascar display featuring a pit crew challenge where visitors can experience what it would be like to be a Nascar tire changer.

Also in the GM area will be the national "Best Car Contest Ever". Entrants can enter to win a new GM vehicle and vacation.

Look for the 11 car display in the south parking lot of Cascades Casino near Glover Road, next to the Cruise-In marketplace.

Included in the vehicle showing will be a range of cars from the 2012 General Motors line up as well as the 2013 Chevrolet Spark.

Also look for the 2012 Corvette 60th anniversary edition, which is in the perfect location, near the BC Corvette Club display.

"The 60-year history of Corvette culminates in the ultimate merging of classic design and iconic supercar power with the all-new Corvette 60th Anniversay Appearance Package," Chalkley commented.

And in case the Corvette wasn't enough to get you excited about seeing the cars General Motors is bringing, there will also be a 2012 Camaro ZL1.

GM buffs will enjoy the display, but likely so will anyone who likes to see what's new and interesting in the automotive world.
