About 500 people took advantage of having businesses, community groups and government agencies from around the region all clustered together in the Coast Hotel and Convention ballroom on Nov. 7.

The Fraser Valley Chambers of Commerce held its third annual Business Showcase and Mixer. The event featured more than 100 booths.

The first two of these joint events by the chambers of Langley, Abbotsford, Chilliwack, Maple Ridge-Pitt Meadows, Mission and Surrey were at the Langley Events Centre. To allow for more exhibitors, the event was moved to the Coast Hotel and Convention Centre.
