Dear Editor,

Where do these people get off, comparing themselves to MPs and MLAs, provincial judges, and RCMP superintendents? [Township looks at anther pay raise, Nov. 29, Langley Advance].

They don't even come close to meeting the baseline requirements for any of these jobs, and as we all know, most of those positions are already overpaid.

Township council voted itself huge salary increases just after the election last year, and now council members feel they can justify another huge increase. Where did the task force come up with these comparables?
