Har mateys! Have some childhood fun while helping kids. Just order a Pirate Pak from White Spot on Wednesday.
With three local locations (two in Langley, one in Aldergrove), there's easy treasure for Zajak Ranch through this fundraiser.
For each kid's or adult Pirate Pak, White Spot will donate $2 to the ranch, which gives children and young adults with life-threatening illnesses and chronic disabilities an unforgettable summer camp experience.
Wednesday marks the fifth annual Pirate Pak day with $152,000 being raised for Zajak ranch to date. This allowed 75 kids to take in a camp experience they might otherwise have missed.
Zajak lets kids experience traditional camp activities like meeting new friends, canoeing, archery, and horseback riding.
"Pirate Pak Day is the perfect opportunity to experience a piece of that childhood magic while also supporting a worthy cause. We are proud to once again be partnering with Zajac Ranch and hope to break our fundraising record of $46,714 this year," said White Spot president Warren Erhart.
The special edition 'Adult Pak' is only available on August 15. Shove off and set sail for the Aldergrove location at 3070 264th St., or in Langley at 19651 Fraser Highway and 20077 91A Avenue.
"White Spot's Pirate Pak Day fundraiser has resulted in very generous contributions to our camp program, providing life-changing experiences for special needs kids across B.C.," said Mel Zajac, founder of the Zajac Ranch for Children.
