Dear Editor,

We kinda thought that a Much Music Video of the Year award would be nice.

However, you absolutely got it right in your editorial [Two Ways Out worth a watch, Oct. 11 Opinion, Langley Advance]. We had a lot of firefighters saying, "You can't be serious," when we sprung the idea on them on Friday morning, 20 minutes before we started filming.

Once we convinced them it was about getting the message out, they were all on board. In fact, we ended up having a lot of fun with it, all the while knowing full well we would likely take some ribbing from our colleagues.

Thanks for helping get our fire safety message out.
