A dump truck trailer broke loose and smashed a power pole in Aldergrove Friday morning, causing the temporary closure of a major road.
Just before noon, a dump truck in the 6100 block of 264th Street lost its pup trailer, said Township district fire chief Bryant Ross.
The trailer rolled into a ditch, taking out a BC Hydro pole on its way.
No one was hurt and the truck itself did not crash, Ross said.
However, cleaning up the downed power lines and crashed trailer required closing 264th for some time in the middle of the day.
