A man who screamed at a woman and kicked her car in the parking lot of a Langley shopping centre is the target of an RCMP mischief investigation.

On Jan. 14, just before 10 a.m., the driver was backing out of a parking stall at WalMart when she noticed an angry man standing next to her car, said Cpl. Holly Marks, spokesperson for the Langley RCMP.

The man was very angry and began swearing at her from the driver's side of the car, said Marks.

The man kicked the passenger side and rear of the car several times, then walked into the WalMart.

The driver checked out her car and found damage to the passenger side.

Neither the driver, nor another witness nearby, could see any reason for the man's angry outburst, said Marks.

The man is Caucasian, in his 40s, about 5'11" with a medium build, white hair, scruffy stubble on his face, and was wearing dark pants, possibly denim, and a plaid shirt.

Anyone with information on the vandalism or the man involved can call the Langley RCMP at 604-532-3200 or CrimeStoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
