A bomb threat caused the evacuation of Langley's Wal-Mart on Tuesday evening, but fortunately no explosives were found.
The call came in just after 7 p.m. to the store itself, said Const. Craig Van Herk of the Langley RCMP.
Wal-Mart staff began evacuating shoppers and workers, and called the police. Langley Mounties went to assist, and also began an immediate investigation.
A bomb-sniffing dog searched the store and around the outside of the building, and no bomb or suspicious items were located.
The store was re-opened by about 8:15 p.m.
Van Herk said the Langley RCMP are now investigating the circumstances of the phoned-in threat.
