This weekend, watch milking demonstrations, listen to live music, or take a ride on a 20-metre-high ferris wheel, all in one location.
Get ready to celebrate, country style, in south Langley this weekend.
The 34th annual Country Celebration, being held this Saturday and Sunday (Sept. 15-16) from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days, combines nature, heritage, agriculture and community.
This year's celebration includes new activities such as stilt walking and hula hoop workshops, in addition to all the old family-friendly favourites such as kite-making, milking demonstrations, a 20-metre-high ferris wheel, and llama obstacle courses.
Live music, a farmer's market, home baking, local crafts, food, and kids' games and activities are also scheduled.
The event is free for children six and under, seniors 65 and over, and anyone in pioneer costume.
For everyone else, admission is $3 per person, $2 for a child between the ages of seven and 12, and $10 for a family or small group.
